In December 2024, the art agency Art Escape launched an extraordinary series of exhibitions, the next stop of which will be the impressive Etele Plaza in Budapest. ART WEEKEND will take its exhibitions out of the usual and traditional exhibition spaces and place them in a completely different, functional and - even absurd - popular environment. In this way, it makes its exhibitions unique, brings art closer and creates an organic link between the art and the people.
The works of the artists listed and invited convey a sense of singularity in both their message and their presentation, whether in painting, sculpture or photography. This is why the ART WEEKEND series of exhibitions has the vocation and the ars poetics of taking the chosen venue out of its original function and making art transcend its concept, showing that art can open up new dimensions in any space and in any place.
The second exhibition will take place from 31 January to 10 February 2025 on the second floor of Etele Plaza.
